Chocolate Mint Tea Chocolate goes well with tea, not just coffee. You can brew up this recipe is a jiffy, using instant hot chocolate powder and bags of mint tea.
6 mint tea bags
6 cups milk
6 tbs hot chocolate powder
In a saucepan, heat milk with tea bags until almost boiling. Steep for a couple of minutes and strain out tea bags. Pour our 6 mugs of milk, then stir in a tablespoon of chocolate powder in each mug.

Citrus Bite  A zesty marmalade tea that will help you wake up in the mornings.
5 cups water
3 tbs loose black tea
1/2 cup orange marmalade
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs lemon juice

Heat water to near boiling, and steep tea for about 5 minutes. Add marmalade, lemon juice and sugar. Stir slowly until marmalade is dissolved and blended through. Strain and serve.

Cranberry Ginger Tea  A tangy blend of ginger and cranberries. This tart tea recipe will make your taste buds jump for joy, and wake you up in the morning.
2 tbs loose black tea
2 cups hot water
1/2 cup fresh ginger, sliced thin
1/2 cup whole cranberries
1/2 cup cranberry juice
Steep tea, ginger slices and whole cranberries in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes. Strain and add cranberry juice. Heat through and serve warm.

Wine Spiced Tea A holiday favorite, mulled tea with red wine. A bit of spicy cloves and cinnamon make this a very sophisticated hot tea cocktail. An alternative to mulled cider.
1 cup strong tea
5 tbs sugar
2 cups red wine
1 tsp ground cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Rind of 1 lemon
Boil the tea, lemon rind, sugar, cinnamon and cloves together until the sugar dissolves. Add the red wine and bring to a boil. Strain out cinnamon stick and the rind. You may need to add more sugar, to taste. Serve with a slice of lemon

Lemon Almond Tea  Not just almond, but lemon and vanilla too. It's a very mellow tasting tea recipe, so you should be prepared to relax while drinking it.
4 tea bags
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp almond extract
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
4 cups water
Steep the tea and lemon zest together in boiling water for 4 minutes. Stir in the sugar, lemon juice, almond and vanilla flavourings. Serve hot.

Mulled Pinneaple Tea  Almost like a mulled cider, but with pineapple juice and hot tea. Not all tropical-tasting drinks are cold and summery.
2 cups water
2 cups pineapple juice
2 tea bags
1 tsp whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
1 lemon, sliced
Heat water and pineapple juice in a saucepan, until boiling. Add cloves, cinnamon, lemon slices and tea bags. Simmer for 10 minutes. Strain out spices and tea bags. Serve hot.
